Parent Comments: My son has a good understanding of Math concepts, but he is currently scoring in the 70s range. As Primary 5 is a big transition, we’re looking for a tutor who can provide more practice, build his confidence and guide him in choosing the right problem-solving methods. We would also prefer a tutor who is strict yet able to motivate him and make learning enjoyable. Our main goal is to prepare him well for exam-style questions. We prefer a tutor who has - Current or Ex MOE teachers - experience teaching the MOE syllabus - worked with Primary 5/6 students especially in preparing for PSLE. We are comfortable with a rate of $50/hour and are looking at 1.5–2 hour lessons Preferred timings are weekdays from 5–7pm or Saturdays from 10am–12pm.
