Experience:	I am a former MOE- trained teacher from St. Hilda’s Primary School for 13 years (2008 to Dec 2020) and I have taught English, Math and Science from P1 to P6 levels. I am currently running my own learning centre, Zakie San Academy, located at Tampines Junction (opposite Tampines Hub). Our academy conducts coaching sessions in specialised teams of up to a max of 4 to 5 students ONLY. This is to ensure that while students benefit from higher levels of dynamism, engagement, interactivity as well as healthy competition/ pressure to perform, individualised attention is still provided. To achieve an optimal effectiveness of teaching and learning, our students are assigned specialised learning teams based on their ability level. Prior to this, I have also been conducting one-to-one private home tuition as well as with Self-Help organisations such as CDAC, Mendaki and SINDA. Due to overwhelming response, I started my own academy so that more students can benefit from my teaching.
