Experience:	I am a current PhD student in Communications and ex-MOE teacher, with close to 8 years’ experience in GP coaching. I have taught GP as a class, in small groups and in one-to-one settings. My pedagogical philosophy combines my teaching experience and academic knowledge as a PhD student. My coaching focuses on both the language and content elements of GP. I will partner the student in gaining the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to navigate GP. I start the coaching of each student with ensuring their foundations are well built. Lesson time would be used for pure teaching, while timed practices would be done outside of lesson hours to maximise learning time. Feedback will be given promptly. I emphasise direct, specific feedback that the candidate can focus on to improve in the short and long term. I prepare and adapt my own materials that aligns with the H1 8881 GP syllabus. I am offering for the lessons to be conducted virtually instead. The lesson experience is the same as an in-person lesson. Preparing for the actual examinations is priority, thus all assignments will still be done traditionally in pen-and-paper format while lessons will be delivered virtually.
