Parent Comments: Tuition timing : Sat 11am-1pm. The tutor shd be firm and patient and most importantly encouraging and engaging when explaining the Maths workings/concepts to my boy when he has difficulty understanding the concepts. He lacks confidence and tends to give up easily when he sees a difficult question that he doesn’t know how to start working on it. He needs a lot of encouragement and guidance. Tutor likely needs to explain concepts/workings to my boy a few times / using different ways to explain to him for him to understand. He is one who is not able to look at the textbook/guidebook egs and try to understand from there on his own. He needs someone to guide/explain even for the guided egs. My boy once he understands a concept is able to pickup fast but when he is not able to connect the dots, and the tutor raises his voice or reprimands him, he will shut off and be lost immediately. He needs time to absorb the concepts. He basically needs a tutor who is patient and encouraging.
